Family weekend with success

Last weekend in November we have a family weekend at the Top, and it is one of the happiest events we have during the year. Students, staff, parents, siblings, uncles, close friends and younger siblings meet here. Both students and staff offer entertainment, the kitchen provides good food and everyone contributes to a good atmosphere. Since it is the first weekend of Advent, it leaves a bit of a mark on the content. It's good to get family and friends to visit Toppen.
On Friday evening, the students presented the Autumn Project, which the fellows are in charge of carrying out. Here, old fairy tales were transformed, with new characters and new plot in scenes from everyday life at the Top. The students had been working for just over two days, and they put in a brilliant effort. They worked on costumes, lines, instruments and communication under the guidance of the stippers, and the result was really good! Laughter in the hall and on stage - everything one could wish for.

On Saturday, the visit got a taste of folk high school life, before we lit the Christmas house and sang Nordnorsk Julesalme outside in the winter evening. And then the line came CREATIVE MIX at the exhibition and mulled wine in the Tower Building. Some electives had also exhibited works there. Lots of fine and impressive work.
We ended the evening with student evening as the student council had planned. There was entertainment on stage and quizzes in the hall. The student council had done a great job! It was really nice to meet the families and it was really good atmosphere at the house all weekend. Thank you for the efforts of the students and staff, and a big thank you to those who made the trip here!
See you! Have a nice pre-Christmas time.
