Mosjøen — Norway's largest small town
Mosjøen is located centrally on Helgeland, in the very south of Nordland county. A urban small town where most of it is available. Our students are pleasantly surprised when they come here. It is easy to travel to Mosjøen both by car, train and plane.

Flight time from Oslo about 1.5 hours. The airport It is 15 minutes drive from the school.
By Train

The municipality of Vefsn has 13,000 inhabitants and has every offer that matters for you who are young. We have a lot of exciting things to offer in culture: concerts, festivals, cinema, theater, courses, multi-productions, visual arts. Here are two Kulturhus with several halls, various concert venues and cafes that constantly offer pleasant surprises. Something happens all the time in Mosjøen.
The Peak
The school also has a fantastic location for walks, whether you're looking for a real challenge or you mostly feel like tussling off. Both coastal and high mountain are in close proximity, and there are many marked hiking trails and summit hikes to choose from. You can sit in the kayak just below the school, light a fire on the shore or jog up the mountain if you prefer.

The school is located centrally and just 5 minutes walk from the school you will find several food shops, restaurants and gas stations. Mosjøen is a nice city to live in... for those of us who live here. For those who are going to be at the top one year.
