Meet the Student Council

Meet the Student Council for Coals 2021-22. A great bunch of lovely people who will help ensure that this year's students have a good and good school year. Elected to the board were: Chairman Benjamin Sæbbø, Deputy Chairman Nicolas Lardier, Secretary Bao Duy Tran. Board members Matis Brøndbo, Selma Befring and Sebastian Paulsen. To the school board, Kristina Grande was elected, and a member on the board of trustees for “Friends of the Top” became Kaja Sørensen.

Newly elected leader of the student council is Benjamin. He is 19 years old, comes from Stavanger, and walks on the bus Outdoor activities LETT. In addition to being an outdoor enthusiast, he also plays golf and guitar.

How do you feel about having been elected leader of the student council?

It was very handsome! Exciting and challenging work, so I'm looking forward to it. It will be good.

Do you have any previous experience with this type of work?

I sat on student council in 7th grade, and on environmental council in elementary school. So not so much.

What issues will you be working for this year?

Things that make everyday life better for us. For example, one for the toaster in the dining room and the water dispenser in the fireplace lounge. Otherwise, I have to listen to what the students want and work for it.

How did the first meeting go?

It went fine, although we had a bit of trouble with the voting and had to vote again. The board is now constituted and ready to work.
